Planes are engineered to exact tolerances while maintaining traditional standards of workmanship, design and performance.
Blades are 95% carbon steel with a hardness of 58-62HRC. (Hardness Rockwell C). Guaranteed sole flatness to within 0.003". Simple and precise adjustment of plane iron alignment, depth of cut and throat opening. Handles on #4 smoothing plane and #5 jack plane are hand-rubbed hardwood.
