Customer Rating: Summary: well balanced and great in the hands Comment: In Hawaii, we use these 'in the field' to trim Hawaii's many hiking trails.
I am a thin wristed girl, and I LOVE this tool!!!
It is so well balanced, light in the handle, and heavy in the blade--it just slices through the uluhe (thick fern), guava, and ginger.
The zip soft cover makes it very streamlined to put in the backpack to carry around on a 10 mile hike.
It far surpassed my expectations!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: excellent product Comment: Balanced, sharp and an overall great design.
I have other, cheaper, Cold Steel machetes that are awkward to use-don't buy them
