The PSI 5/8" Crown Drive center was just the ticket to solve those problems. A great value for the money (as are most items from PSI on Amazon) Standard fit and finish it went right to work on my lathe and I doubt my stab center will see daylight again soon. JW Customer Rating: Summary: Lathe Drive Center Comment: I purchased this drive center because the one that came with my lathe often split the wood if the time-consuming precut cross and center hole were not perfect. This one has dozens of teeth and a spring loaded center point. Most jobs require zero preparation. For example, I needed a 5/8 inch x 6 inch dowel for a tool fixture. I took a small piece of a rough split log and in 15 seconds it was installed on the lathe and spinning. Quality is excellent. More Reviews
