The first is for finish work only, I love it so much I bought a second one, and now I use the 2nd one for siding and trim. There is no other hammer I would use. The lighter weight makes it easier to carry all day, and it drives nails better than steel. This 10 oz. hammer works just as good as the 16 oz. steel ones. I got one for myself and my daughter and son-in-law. My daughter said it is now her hammer of choice.
